Medium sugar edges up in listless trade

Medium sugar prices edged up at the Vashi wholesale market today on mild demand from stockists and retailers.

Meanwhile, small sugar ruled steady in absence of any worthwhile buying activity

Medium sugar (M-30) slightly up by Rs 2 per quintal to Rs 3,762/3,942 from Monday's close Rs 3,762/3,940.

Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 3,676/3,756 per quintal.

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,676/3,756 (Rs 3,676/3,756).

Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,762/3,942 (Rs 3,762/3,940).
