#MeToo Bollywood: Big stars speak up as Sajid Khan, Luv Ranjan and Subhash Ghai 'outed'

More skeletons tumbled out of Bollywood's closet Friday with directors Sajid Khan, and being accused of sexual harassment, leading to big stars Akshay Kumar, and expressing their solidarity with the #MeToo movement.

Sajid Khan's sister, Farah Khan, also spoke out against her brother, saying she doesn't endorse his behaviour and stands in solidarity with any woman who has been hurt.

"This is a heartbreaking time for my family. We have to work through some very difficult issues. If my brother has behaved in this manner, he has a lot to atone for," she said on

The anguished response came after three women actors and a shared graphic details of the sexual harassment they faced at the hands of Sajid, who announced that he is stepping down as of "4" till he can allay the allegations.

Sajid's cousin Farhan Akhtar, who has been a vocal supporter of the movement, said he was shocked and disappointed.

Onir, who directed Durrani in "Kuchh Bheege Alfaaz", has supported Chopra.

Actor Sushant Singh, of & TV Artists Association (CINTAA), said he was ashamed to hear the stories of harassment coming out of the industry.

"As a Man, as a member of this profession and as a person who has seen you growing up... I am sorry and I am ashamed," he wrote on in a reply to Chopra.
