Middle-aged man dies of electric shock

A 52-year-old man died on Tuesday after he suffered electric shock in Ansing villege in Washim district of Maharashtra, police said.

The incident occurred when the victim, Sheshrao Rathod, switched on the water pumpset at his house in the morning hours, a local police official said.

Rathod was rushed to hospital by his family members where he was declared dead.

A case of accidental death has been registered.
