Mild quake in Mizoram

A mild earthquake occurred in the Champhai region of Mizoram tonight.

According to the National Centre for Seismology, the earthquake measuring 3.5 on the Richter Scale struck at 9:54 PM at a depth of 5km.

A major earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter Scale yesterday hit Myanmar the ripples of which were felt in the entire northeastern region of India.
