Minor girl abducted, raped by youth

A five-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and raped by a youth from her village Fahimpur, police said today.

The girl went missing yesterday while playing outside her house, police said.

The accused Roop Kumar had lured the girl and took her to a sugar cane field where he raped her and left her, they said.

The victim was found unconscious in the fields later by the villagers, who filed a case in this connection.

The accused was today arrested, police said.
