Minor girl brutalised, critical

A four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by an unidentified person who later smashed her face with some blunt object leaving her critically injured near Kashi Railway station compound here.

The incident took place on Monday night when the girl was asleep at the station compound with her parents in Adampur area here, police said.

After midnight, the girl was picked up by miscreant and taken to nearby bushes and raped. Her face and head was also smashed, police said.

Later, she was found bleeding by her parents and rushed to BHU's trauma centre. The girl's condition is stated to be critical.
 

The girl's father registered an FIR at Adampur police station against an unidentified person yesterday morning and police have launched a man hunt.
