A 10-year-old girl has died at a private hospital here after being bitten by a snake, police said today.
Minor girl Tanisha of nearby Atta village was bitten on Wednesday and died during her treatment at a private hospital yesterday, police said.
The family of the victim has alleged that medical negligence on the part of doctors led to the death of the girl.
They said the doctors refused their request to shift the girl to other hospital.
The hospital authorities, however, have denied the family's allegation.
The family members were pacified by the police after an altercation broke out between them and the hospital staff.
