Minor girl shot dead by youth

A teenage girl was shot dead

allegedly by a youth today in Hamirpur district.

Sukhdev shot dead the 14-year-old girl in Sumerpur village this afternoon when she was returning home, police said.

The police have sent the body for post mortem examination and trying to ascertain the motive behind the killing.

No arrest has been made so far.
