Minor killed in celebratory firing in UP

A 14-year-old boy was killed in celebratory firing during a wedding ceremony in Kumarganj area of the district, police said today.

According to the police, a wedding programme was going on in Devgoan village of Kumarganj area when one Mahmood (40), after completion of ceremonies, started firing from his licensed .12 bore gun.

A bullet hit Imran, a family member of the bride.

Police have arrested the accused with his gun.
