Minor's body recovered, one held

On the complaint made by the minor's father, police team probed the matter and found his body near a pond, SP (Dehat) Rajinder Singh told reporters.

Following the initial clues, one Rakesh Kumar was arrested, he said.

During interrogation Kumar has admitted his involvement in the minor's murder, he said adding, his accomplice and the mastermind of the crime Kulwant Singh was still absconding.

The motive behind the crime can only be ascertained after the arrest of Kulwant, he said.

The minor's body has been sent for postmortem.
