Missing girl traced

escaped from a shelter home at Panipat, was found in Hisar today and handed over to police.

Puja told her interrogators she did not want to go back to the home because she was "ill-treated and was compelled to overwork there", police said.

On November five, she escaped from the shelter home and came to Hisar.

Phoolwati, a maid, found the girl wandering aimlessly and took her to the police station after which Hisar Police immediately contacted their Panipat counterparts.

The Panipat Police got her medically examined and sent her back to the shelter home.
