MLA, others sustains injuries in accident

Velacheri assembly constituency MLA Ashok, his wife and two others were injured when their car collided with a lorry at Kacharayan Patti, about 40 kms from here today, police said.

Police said the MLA, his wife Nithya and relative Mullai Selvam were proceeding towards Paramakudi for attending a condolence when they met with the accident.

The driver also was injured in the accident.
