Model Rural Health Research Unit coming up in Kallur

A Model Rural Health Research Unit would come up at Kallur in the district with an objective to monitor rural health problems and provide effective and timely assistance through the Government Medical College Hospital here.

The unit coming up at a cost of Rs five crore would be located at the primary health centre and V M Katoch, Secretary, Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, laid the foundation stone for the unit, a press release said here today.
