Moderate quake jolts Nepal

A moderate tremor measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale today hit central Nepal as aftershocks from last year's massive earthquake continue to jolt the country.
The aftershock of 4.8 magnitude was felt in Kathmandu valley and adjoining districts at 11 AM local time. Its epicenter was located at Dhading district, 80 km west of Kathmandu, according to National Seismological Centre.
However, no damage was reported in the incident.

On Friday, a 4.2-magnitude tremor was recorded with epicenter located at Sindhupalchowk district.
So far, 440 aftershocks with four or more magnitude have been recorded after the devastating April 25 earthquake that killed nearly 9,000 people.
