Modi meets freedom fighter Padmacharan Nayak

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met freedom fighter and ex-MLA of Odisha Padmacharan Nayak and lauded the Gandhian's efforts to free society from social evils, including alcoholism.

Modi said that the freedom fighter has always led a life of simplicity.

"He has lived a life of simplicity and service. His efforts to free society from social evils, including alcoholism are inspiring," the prime minister tweeted.
