Molestation case against prison official

A case has been registered against a deputy superintendent of the Cherlapally central prison here for allegedly trying to outrage the modesty of a woman colleague, police said today.

Following a complaint by the woman, who works as a clerk at the prison, Kushaiguda police registered a case against Ch Dasharatham two days ago under section 354 of the IPC (outraging woman's modesty).
