Moneylender found murdered

Sukhjinder Singh, a resident of Bajra village in the district, was "brutally" murdered in his office, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sushil Kumar said.

The unidentified assailant repeatedly stabbed Singh in the face and thereafter strangulated him, the police officer said.

"Prima facie it does not appear to be a case of robbery killing," he said.
