The city woke up to a comfortable 27 degrees Celsius today with the weather office predicting more rain and thunderstorm towards the evening.
The maximum temperature is likely to be around 37 degrees Celsius. Pre-monsoon showers lashed the national capital yesterday, offering respite to people from scorching heat.
"The sky will be partly cloudy. Rain or thunderstorm is likely at some areas of the city with squall at isolated places towards evening or night," the Met office forecast said.

However, humidity level shot up to 76 per cent by 8.30 AM, a weather official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 38.6 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 30.5 degrees Celsius.
