The Hero MTB Shimla, a two-day mountain biking event, will take off tomorrow.
The riders will have to pedal their way through uphill tracks, speedy downhill tracks, village back roads, beautiful meadows, thick vegetation and jeep tracks.
Mountain biking is a very exciting event to be part of. Adventure cycling is already quite popular in other parts of the world and its time India joined the celebration. It is a great way to show people what our bikes are made of and the lengths to which one could stretch its performance," Pankaj M Munjal, Chairman, Hero Motors Company, said.
Prizes worth Rs. 6.5 lacs will be distributed and Hero Sprint Pro- a new range of bikes launched by Hero Cycles, will also be presented to the winners.
