Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today ordered suspension of a municipal engineer for dereliction of duty and said that evasive attitude of the officers would not be tolerated at any cost.
Municipal Engineer, Jind, Pala Ram was suspended, an official spokesman said.
The Chief Minister, a review meeting of development projects, directed the officers concerned that work on all the major projects in the district should be completed by the end of 2013.

Hooda said that he would again visit Jind in August to review the progress of these works and any laxity in execution of these works would be taken seriously.
Deputy Commissioner M L Kaushik apprised Hooda that development projects costing Rs 2,225 crore were in progress in Jind district and assured that all these work would be completed in a time bound manner.
Hooda said that by and large he was satisfied with the progress of works, but much more needs to be done.
