My father didn't set me up with Davis: Britney Spears

Pop star Britney Spears has denied the rumours that her father set her up with current boyfriend, David Lucado.

The 31-year-old mother of two admitted that her father did play a major role by running a background check on him, reported Radar online.

"My dad's a little crazy like that," she said.

Rather Spears insisted that her friends introduced her to Davis in a restaurant.

"We were eating at a restaurant. (A couple friends) knew him and they introduced me to him and we just kind of hit it off," she added.

Their meeting came one month after the singer ended her engagement to Jason Trawick.
