Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy has declared assets worth about Rs 6.06 crore in his affidavit filed along with his nomination papers for the November 19 by-poll to Nellithope assembly constituency.
In his nomination papers filed yesterday, Narayanasamy declared that he owns immovable properties worth about Rs 5.62 crore and movable properties worth Rs 44.6 lakh in his name.
The the immovable properties in the name of his wife is about Rs 3.55 core and her movable assets worth about Rs 4.25 lakhs.
Narayanasamy, a senior Congress leader and former Minister of State in the PMO, said he had an income of Rs 19,89,150 during the financial year 2015-2016.
He stated that he has bank loans to the tune of Rs 27 lakh.
