Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated Narendra Modi after he was sworn- in as the 15th Prime Minister of India.
In a letter to the newly-appointed Prime Minister, Patnaik said he was congratulating Modi with a hope that the country will move forward on the development track under his leadership.
Patnaik was among few chief ministers who skipped Modi's oath taking function at Rastrapati Bhavan. Odisha's Finance Minister Pradip Kumar Amat was sent to attend Modi's swearing-in ceremony.
