Naveen revokes suspension of BJD MLA
Ruling BJD president Naveen Patnaik today withdrew suspension order on Banki MLA Pravat Tripathy from the party, a BJD statement said here.
Tripathy was suspended from the party three years ago after he was arrested by CBI and jailed in a chitfund scam related case.
Tripathy was arrested by the central agency on October 31, 2014 after questioning him multiple times.
It was alleged that Tripathy had received Rs 42 lakh from Artha Tatwa Group, a ponzi firm, in return for the patronage extended to it.
