Fox studios is developing a new version of popular TV show "24" with a female lead.
The show's executive producers Howard Gordon and Brian Grazer will produce the new show along with Jeremy Doner, reported Deadline.
Doner and Gordon will also write the script for the new show.
Fox Television had cancelled the second season of "24:Legacy" and were reported to have been exploring an anthology series built around the real-time storytelling format of the original.
