Newborn baby girl found abandoned in hospital

A newborn baby girl was allegedly found abandoned in the premises of a government hospital here.

The baby was found by a local in the courtyard of Badshah Khan hospital here yesterday, police said.

The local saw that there was no one around the baby and informed the police.

According to the police, the infant is healthy and is currently being taken care of by the hospital.

A case has been registered and we are investigating the matter, they added.
