Thieves broke into the house of former Rajya Sabha MP Kamal Akhtar here and decamped with Rs 3 lakh in cash and gold and diamond jewellery, the police said today.
ASP Abhinandan said Akhtar lived in the house in Sector 19 with his family.
According to the complaint, the thieves stole Rs 3 lakh in cash, gold and diamond jewellery, an LED TV and other valuable goods.
An FIR has been lodged at the Sector 20 Police Station.
