In restricted activity, non-basmati rice prices edged up Rs 25 per quintal at the wholesale grains market today following mild demand from retailers.
However, other grains after moving in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some demand from retailers led to a rise in non-basmati rice prices.

In the national capital, non-basmati rice permal raw and wand were up by Rs 25 and Rs 10 to Rs 1,700-1,750 and Rs 1,850-1,870 per quintal, respectively.
