Nominations for biennial election to the lone Rajya Sabha seat in Uttarakhand on June 11 opened today with the state Election Commission issuing the notification.
The announcement was made by Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly secretary and election commission officer Jagdish Chander.
The last date for filing of nomination papers is May 31, he said.
