NPR enrolment to commence in Reasi from June 1

The enrolment for the National Population Register (NPR) shall start in Reasi district from June 1.

The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of district officers, chaired by District Development Commissioner Reasi, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, today.

On the occasion, Joint Director Census operations J-K, C S Sapru, highlighted the importance and objectives of NPR and issues related to the second phase of operation.

Sapru also gave a power point presentation, explaining the different phases of NPR project during the meeting.
