NTPC employee commits suicide

A Deputy Manager of NTPC allegedly committed suicide by swallowing some poisonous pills at his residence here, police said today.

T Kashyap allegedly consumed the pills at his residence in the NTPC complex yesterday, said Bhikam Singh Bhati, NTPC Chowki in-charge.

Neighbours took him to a private hospital where he died, he said.

Kashyap was apparently depressed as his wife had gone to her parents' house after a tiff with him a few days ago, Bhati said.
