One dies in accident

and another injured today when they were hit by a speeding truck on BT Road at at Belgharia Rathtala, on the outskirts of Kolkata.

The police said Prasanta Sen (35) died on the spot when he was run over by the vehicle while crossing the road.

The injured person was rushed to a local hospital.

The truck was impounded and the driver was arrested, sources said.
