Over 1,400 students given offer letters

A little over 1,400 students of Nehru Group of Institutions here were today given employment offer letters by more than 100 companies across the country.

UST Global Head-India Campus Relations, Thiruvananthapuram, Rekha Mathews and Head-Human Resources,TVS Automobiles, Shashikanth Jayaraman of Chennai, handed over the letters to the students, at a function 'Riddhi-2015,' an NGI release said.

The companies including Infosys, IBM, UST Global, Google, Amazon, EA Sports, Wipro, IDBI Federal, Indusind Bank, Tech Mahindra, Sutherland, Geojit BNP Paribas, HP, Cognizant, MPHASIS, Eureka Forbes, Serco, Aditya Birla, had given offer letters to 1,423 students in 2014-15, the release said.

The salary offered ranged from Rs.1.8 lakh to Rs 5.46 lakh per annum, it said.
