PA of Congress MP kills self in Chikmagalur

The personal assistant of Congress MP Jayaprakash Hegde allegedly committed suicide at a guest house here today, a senior police official said.

The body of Jagannath (48) was found hanging from a ceiling fan, Chikmagalur Superintendent of Police Vikar Kumar said.

He had come to the guest house yesterday, the officer said.

Jagannath's suicide came to light when a guest house employee forced open the door after getting no response from inside, the officer said, adding that the reason for the suicide was not known yet.
