A Pakistani man has been arrested for attempting to smuggle heroin into Thailand by swallowing 20 packets of the drug worth about 1.2 million baht to avoid detection.

After an X-ray showed suspicious items in his stomach, Thai airport police forced him to excrete what he had swallowed.

Twenty plastic bags of heroin weighing 380 grammes were found inside him.

Last week, two Pakistani men were arrested after police recovered several fake passports and empty Indian visa stickers from them.

Also, two months ago two Pakistani men were caught red handed with large sums of fake Indian currency.
