The 26-year-old 'New York' hitmaker said that her past experiences with men have influenced her to raise a family on her own as she has been let down several times, reported Contactmusic.
"I think a lot of my drive comes from my very independent single mother. And since most of the men in my life have been pretty inconsistent, I am on a mission to make myself financially stable and have children on my own. People tell me you have to find the right man, but I don't think that is true," she said.
Faith said if she used a sperm donor to father her children, she would choose Andre 3000, member of hip-hop duo Outkast because they would have a "beautiful" family.
"I think it would be Andre 3000, even though he's really short, because I'd like a beautiful mixed-race baby," she said.
The 'Stone Cold Sober' hitmaker said she would like to have her first child in four years time.
"Before I am 30 I would like a successful album, a house and a baby, maybe with a man, but like I said, that is not something I am banking on," she said.
