Delhi Government wants to remodel the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus depot at IP Estate by redeveloping parking space for 100 buses in the operational areas.
The proposal mooted by the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (DSIIDC) was today reviewed by Delhi's Lt Governor Najeeb Jung.
According to the proposed plan, the DSIIDC will construct a 12 storied building with 3 basements which will house the DTC Headquarter, besides other facilities.

The total built area of the proposed building is 24,410 sq m.
The building will be equipped with fire-fighting equipment, lifts, pressurized mechanical ventilation, DG set power back up, solar lighting for common areas, rainwater harvesting, RO plant and CCTV.
Besides that, there will be a modern effluent treatment plant at site.
Particular attention shall also be given to sewage and drainage facility. Power and water saving measures will also be adopted which will go on to save approximately 35 per cent energy.
The project is likely to be completed in 3 years.
Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary (Finance), Secretary (Transport), Managing Directo (DSIIDC), Chief Managing Director (DTC) and senior officials of the LG House were present in the review meeting.
