Patwari arrested while accepting bribe

A Patwari posted at Sewania Tehsil in Pali district has been arrested by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1,100.

Kishan Lal Bohra was arrested while accepting the bribe for issuing a certified copy of a map, an ACB spokesperson said today.

In a complaint to the ACB, one Bundu Khan had alleged that Bohra had demanded a bribe of Rs 2,000 of which Rs 900 was already paid, the official said.

ACB sleuths organised a raid and arrested him red-handed, the spokesperson said, adding a case under Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 was lodged against Bohra.
