A local court has dismissed a petition challenging an earlier judgement quashing a complaint against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for "hurting religious sentiments" of Hindus.
Additional District and Sessions Judge I P Singh Josh dismissed the petition today saying there was "no infirmity" in the order of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, dated September 30, 2014.
The petitioner had accused Gandhi of "hurting religious sentiments" of Hindus in his speech delivered at the Talkatora stadium in New Delhi last year on the occasion of Rajiv Gandhi birth anniversary.
