'Plenipotent' wins Dundoo Ekambar Memorial Cup

Deshmukh-trained 'Plenipotent', ably ridden by P S Chouhan, won the Dundoo Ekambar Memorial Cup (about) 1400 Metres for Category I horses in the main event on the concluding day of the 28-day Hyderabad monsoon races held here today.

Trainers Deshmukh and Laxman S jockey and P S Chouhan scored a double each whil Jockey A M Tograllu scored a treble.

Five first favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
