Poachers arrested in KNP

Two wanted rhino poachers were today arrested with arms and ammunition from Kaziranga National Park (KNP).

Acting on an information, a police team captured the two poachers, KNP officials said.

The two men were wanted for frequent rhino-poaching in the Burapahar Range and the Orang National Park in the state, they said.

Police recovered two .303 rifles, 22 rounds of cartridges and 4 mobile sets with as many SIM cards.
