Police have busted an inter-state gang involved in using children for committing thefts at marriage functions and detained a woman from Madhya Pradesh.
"Police have recovered gold ornaments worth Rs 4.80 lakh from the possession of the woman identified as Sita Sisodia," Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Jadhav told reporters today.
He said Sisodia has confessed to the theft and led police to Sai Nagar railway station from where police recovered the stolen ornaments.

According to police, a 12-year-old boy had allegedly lifted a bag containing gold ornaments worth Rs 7 lakh from room of a bride at a marriage ceremony held here on January 22.
Police analysed CCTV footage and detained the boy who led them to Sita, a resident of Kadia village in Rajgarh district of Madhya Pradesh.
Another minor boy and one Sandeep Sisodia are absconding, the officer said.
