Power supply may be affected in some parts of city

Power supply in some parts of the city may be affected rotationally due to shifting of 400 KV Dadri-Maharani Bagh line and 400 KV Ballabhgarh-Maharani Bagh line by Power Grid Corporation of India on January 7-8.

"Alternative arrangements have been made to back feed the areas, however, in case of exigency power supply may be affected rotationally in parts of Mehrauli, Okhla, Lodhi Road, Patparganj, Gazipur and adjoining areas," said Delhi Transco Limited official Rishi Raj Bhati.

The shifting of 400 KV lines for Delhi Metro will take place on both days, between 8 am to 6 pm, he added.
