Pre-dawn bomb blast in Manipur

A powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED)exploded early this morning at a popular locality here, a police officer said.

The blast occured at around 4.15 am, the officer said.

The blast which occurred in front of a private transport company in Khoyathong locality however did not result in any loss of life but caused damages to the firm's office, the officer said.

No outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast.
