Private tutor burns minor's hands for not doing homework

Hands of an eight-year-old student were allegedly branded with a hot iron rods by his tutor as punishment for not doing home work in Chowk area here.

The teacher, Suchita Seth, who runs a private coaching centre here was booked today by the police.

The FIR was registered yesterday on the complaint filed by the father of Krishna, who has sustained burn injuries on his hands, police said.
