Punjab govt allows extension of one more year in service

Punjab government today said it has decided to extended the services of state government employees for one more year.

The decision will come into effect from November 1, a government spokesman said adding, last year the state government had extended services of retiring employees who attained the age of 58 years.

The extension would be effective in case of those employees who would be eligible for service of one more year as on October 31, he said.
