Punjab to give matching grant to NRIs' projects

The Punjab government today said the state government will give matching 75 per cent grant for various projects to be undertaken by the NRIs.

Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Bikram Singh Majithia said the scheme will serve the dual purpose of development in an area along with reconnecting NRI's to their motherland.

He appreciated the NRIs initiatives in coming forward to make a significant contribution in development of their respective native places.
