Quess Corp posts over 2-fold jump in Q4 net profit at Rs 75 cr

Business service provider (Quess) reported over 2-fold jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 75.75 crore in the quarter ended March 2018 on the back of higher revenues.

The company's consolidated net profit stood at Rs 33.34 crore in the quarter ended March 2017, a BSE filing said.

According to the statement, total income of the company in the quarter rose to Rs 1,914.73 crore from Rs 1,242.52 crore a year ago.

The company's consolidated net rose to Rs 309.76 crore in 2017-18 from Rs 121.87 crore in the previous financial year.

Apart from approving results, the board today also approved further investments in the entities, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Quesscorp Holdings Pte Ltd,

It will have 36 per cent equity in Comtel Solutions Pte Ltd, with an investment up to Singapore dollar (SDG) 22 million and 49 per cent equity in ComtelPro Pte. Ltd, Singapore with an investment up to Singapore dollar (SDG) 500,000.
