Railways today appointed Rajendra Kashyap as Financial Commissioner.
Kashyap was holding additional charge of FC from July 1 in addition to his own duties as Additional Member (Budget), Railway Board.
Kashyap, a 1976 batch of Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) took charge of his assignment today.
The post of FC was vacant since July 1 after Vijaya Kant retired on June 30.
