Raj receives light rainfall, Churu hottest at 45.2 deg C

Barring a few places which received light rainfall, hot and humid conditions continued in the desert state of Rajasthan, where Churu was the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 45.2 degree Celsius.
Manoharthana and Chhabra recorded 5 cm of rainfall whereas Baran, Anta and Hindoli each received 3 cm rains till morning since yesterday.
Chittorgarh and Kota also recorded 13 mm and 0.6 mm rains till evening today, according to a Met report here.

On the other hand, blistering heat wave conditions continued to affect normal life in some areas.
Churu was the hottest place at 45.2 degree Celsius followed by Sriganganagar at 44.4 degree C.
Day temperature at other places remained above 38 degrees C.
Isolated pockets in the state may receive light rains during next 24 hours, according to a Met forecast.
